Tease :p

So I feel like that may this blog should have been named something entirely different. Like How to be a Flirtatious woman in Christ. You see, I've been having so many revelations about being a woman in Christ that the man isn't important just yet. It would also be because Preacher Man is a very busy being a preacher that I feel only slightly alone. But I think I'll wait a while before I make any sudden movements.

So as I said, PM is a very busy man, but our friendship has progressed to where we tease each other and call each other names. This is a very common flirt practice in Christian flirting because we aren't supposed to be a tease sexually. You know that whole saving it before marriage gets harder if you're a tease before hand. Anywho, PM has this fascination with THE butt, like not butt, but THE butt and he has made me see that it is way funnier to say The Butt instead of just Butt. So, his name calling involves the butt or dookie....and I laugh every time I see or hear him say it. Me, I tend to stick to the traditional nerd, dork, or lame-o. I did call him Jolly Green Giant but I see that as a compliment.

Now teasing, in my humble opinion, lets me know you care enough to fight. You call me a name, it means you are trying to find what actually hurts my feelings. Dookie butt is one of those that won't...ever. It will make me laugh and as we all know, I love to laugh.

So I know I try to tie in some part of the Bible that shows approval of the above flirting style, but the only thing close to teasing is provoke or taunt. Both are mentioned as things to not do, but my theory is that there is a line that teasing crosses over to get to provoking. So be mindful not to cross it or even come near it.
